The Preparing to Work in Schools - CACHE Level 1 Award Course aims to prepare learners for further learning and training, whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting, how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child, and young person development. The course is designed for learners who are thinking of working in a school setting or are about to start work or volunteering in a school setting. The Level 1 qualification is aimed at a range of learners, including young or mature learners without any previous study experience, learners with special educational needs or where English is not the learners first language. 

The Teaching Assistant - QLS Level 2 Course is designed for learners who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice teaching / classroom assistant roles. The aims of the course are to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills appropriate the conduct of a classroom support role, and to participation in a wide range of classroom support a activities. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 2 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Support Work in Schools and Colleges - CACHE Level 2 Award (RQF) Course is available to learners 16+ who are interested in working within a school or college, particularly in the role of a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant. This is a knowledge based qualification suitable for all support staff roles in schools, including site staff, administrators etc as well as those who work directly with children and young people. This course provides successful students with a Level 2 qualification award listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) with 12 credits.

The Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools – CACHE Level 2 Certificate (RQF) Course is available to learners 16+ who are interested in working within a school or college, particularly in the role of a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.

This is a competence based qualification which requires students to be employed in a school setting or to have voluntary placement. This course provides successful students with a Level 2 Certificate Qualification with 32 credits.

The Supporting Teaching & Learning - CACHE Level 3 Award (RQF) Course aims to enable learners to understand the roles and responsibilities of those involved in support roles in schools and colleges. The course provides an opportunity for learners to develop their skills and knowledge in helping children and young people in a learning support role. This is a knowledge based qualification assessed through tutor marked assignments and does not require a school placement. This course is ideally suited to students seeking a qualification prior to taking up a learning support position, and students who already have a suitable placement should consider the Level 3 Certificate Course or the Level 3 Diploma Course. The Level 3 Award Qualification is worth 8 UCAS Points.

The Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools - CACHE Level 3 course is available to learners 16+ who are working or volunteering within a school, particularly in the role of a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant. It is suitable for support workers seeking to apply for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status. Students who are beginners in this subject area should consider the Level 2 Qualification Course which is also available. This course provides successful students with a Level 3 Certificate Qualification listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) with 35 credits. The Level 3 Certificate Qualification is worth 16 UCAS Points.

The Specialist Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools – CACHE Level 3 Diploma (RQF) Course is suitable for those who are in the role of a teaching assistant who directly support teaching and learning of pupils that may require specialist knowledge and skills. This course provides successful students with a Level 3 Diploma Qualification listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Database with 44 credits. The Level 3 Diploma Qualification is worth 32 UCAS Points.

The Support Work in Schools (RQF) & Teaching Assistant Course Bundle contains both the Support Work in Schools – Level 2 Course and the Teaching Assistant – QLS Level 2 Course. The bundle gives you the opportunity to complete both courses for a saving of £50.00. On successful completion of these courses students will be awarded the CACHE Support Work In Schools - Level 2 Award (RQF) Qualification & an endorsed Teaching Assistant QLS Level 2 Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards.

The Education and Training - Level 3 Award (RQF) Course is for people who are looking to teach within the Further Education and Skills Sector. The course has been designed to give an underpinning knowledge of the roles, responsibilities and boundaries of teachers and trainers for those with little or no previous involvement of teaching or training. On successful completion of this course, students will receive a Level 3 RQF Award Qualification with 12 Credits from Training Qualification UK (TQUK). This qualification is worth 8 UCAS Points.

The Educational Psychology - QLS Level 3 Course is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice of psychology as applied to education and learning. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 3 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Autism Awareness for Educators - QLS Level 3 Course aims to develop your understanding of autism and gives anybody in a education capacity the ability to be effective when working with Autistic individuals. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 2 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
