The Drug & Alcohol Misuse - QLS Level 2 Course is designed for students who wish to gain an awareness of drug & alcohol misuse together with the risks and effects associated with misuse, the law and prevention measures. The Objectives of the Course are to gain a better understanding of drugs in society and their use and misuse. The course is particularly suitable for people who may encounter drug related problems and wish to learn how to respond. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 2 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Drug & Alcohol Counselling - QLS Level 3 Course is designed for students who wish to gain an awareness of drug & alcohol misuse and practice methods of counselling clients who misuse substances. The Objective of the Course is to cover a wide range of issues related to substance misuse, social effects, health and the various responses and interventions at a deeper and more comprehensive level than the Level 2 Drug & Alcohol Misuse course. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 3 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Understanding Substance Misuse – Level 3 Certificate (RQF) Course leads to a fully accredited RQF qualification and is designed to help the student develop an understanding of issues, possible responses and interventions for a wide range of drugs. This distance learning course can be an excellent resource for those interested in this subject area, but it is particularly aimed at those who are working directly or would like to work with people who have alcohol or drugs misuse problems. On successful completion of the course you will receive a nationally-recognised level 3 Qualification with 13 credits issued by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK). This Qualification is worth 8 UCAS Points.

The Understanding Infection Control - QLS Level 2 Course is supported by s supported by the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) and is suitable for experienced health care workers caring for clients or patients in a work environment, for those new to the industry or even simply considering a career in Care. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 2 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Infection Control in Health Care Settings - Level 2 Certificate (RQF) Course is designed for those involved in any work associated with the prevention and control of infection. The qualification aims to give everyone the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to the prevention and control of infection. There are many reasons why the prevention and control of infection are important, not least is the legal responsibility with the duty of care for patients and clients. By completing this course, students will increase their awareness and knowledge of infection risks in the healthcare environment and develop skills in minimising risks. On successful completion of this course students will receive a Level 2 Certificate Qualification from NCFE.

This Principles of Safe Handling of Medicines - QLS Level 2 Course is designed for learners who wish to gain an understanding of the principals and practice of the Safe Handling of Medicines. Students for this course will need to be able to relate answers to a current or recent workplace environment. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a QLS Level 2 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder - Level 3 Course is designed to give students an overview of the issues involved with alcohol use during pregnancy, and covers the related warning signs, symptoms and developmental outcomes. The course has been developed in conjunction with experts - FASawareUK. On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Level 3 Endorsed Certificate of Achievement from NCFE and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

The Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder & The Criminal Justice Systems - QLS Level 3 Course is designed to increase recognition of the predisposition to criminal behaviour of an individual with FASD.
